  • Any prior courses that are repeated are not excluded from the calculation. In accordance with the Repeat Course Policy all previous course attempts will remain on your transcript, but only the last grade earned will be included in your cumulative and major GPA.
  • To calculate an exact GPA that takes into consideration a specific repeat course you may use the Academic Advising and Student Achievement Center’s GPA calculator.
  • Graduate students are required to maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA therefore if you are a graduate student using this GPA calculator an average of B or higher is suggested per quarter.
  • All WWU students must adhere to the Academic Standards – be aware of Low Scholarship, Academic Warning and Academic Probation statuses and requirements as they relate to GPA.
  • Create a reasonable plan for success; it is suggested to use a C+ average.  Be realistic about your academic goals. If you reach a GPA sooner than you expect, congratulations!
