Net Price Calculator

Welcome to Western Washington University's Net Price Calculator! Please begin by reading and agreeing to the statement below. Then follow the instructions on the subsequent screens to receive an estimate of how in scholarship and federal or state financial aid you may be eligible for based on high school GPA and financial aid application data.  The Net Price Calculator is just an estimate.

What the Net Price Calculator Is

This calculator is intended to provide estimated net price information to prospective students and their families based on what similar students paid in a comparison year (the Net Price Calculator may not be reflecting the upcoming academic year cost of attendance) and may use a prior academic year costs. Net price is defined as estimated Cost of Attendance (COA)—including tuition and fees, books and supplies, housing and meals, transportation and personal expenses—minus estimated grant and scholarship aid.

By clicking on one of the calculator selections below, I acknowledge that the estimate provided using the calculator does not represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance, or a final net price; it is an estimate based on price of attendance and financial aid provided to students in the comparison year. Cost of attendance and financial aid availability change year to year. The estimates shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education, the State of Washington, or Western Washington University.

Important Net Price Details

Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) in order to be eligible for, and receive, an actual financial aid offer. Financial aid applicants must submit their FAFSA or WASFA by January 31 each year to best ensure eligibility for financial aid for the upcoming academic year. While several factors determine eligibility for financial aid, meeting the Priority Filing Date is one factor that may impact a student's eligibility.

The Net Price Calculator is based on state-supported educational programs. The estimates are not intended for students in fee-based programs. Please contact the Financial Aid Department to discuss your eligibility for aid if you are enrolling in an Outreach and Continuing Education, or other, fee-based program.
