WASFA

What is the WASFA?

The WASFA (Washington Application for State Financial Aid) allows students who are ineligible for federal financial aid due to immigration status to apply for state financial aid.

Completing the WASFA enables eligible students to be considered for the Washington College Grant, as well as other state and institutional aid. Financial aid for undocumented students is limited, so note the WASFA opening and priority filing dates and deadlines.

Students who are eligible to file a FAFSA do not need to file a WASFA.

Fill out the WASFA

For additional information and resources, contact the WWU Scholarship Center or visit their website. Scholarship Center staff are available to assist undocumented students in the application process and create financial aid offers for WASFA filers.
